Book Review: The Tiny Book of Tiny Stories, Volume 2

So way back in January, which, seriously Reader Friends, feels like a lifetime ago, I was able to review The Tiny Book of Tiny Stories Volume I.  You can click here to read my raves and see the original Joseph Gordon-Leavitt video.  Obviously, I was thrilled to hear from Harper Collins about an opportunity to review Volume 2.  It's got the same concept: collaborative works of visual art and writing which tell a tiny story - just a few sentences as most.  Online collaborators submit their original tiny stories or tiny artwork and others are able to supply a matching story or a matching piece of art.

Here's an example of one of my favorites from Volume 2:

Also (Because what would this post be without it?), here's the book trailer.  Normally I don't post book trailers, because I hate them, but this one stars Joseph Gordon-Leavitt, who can overcome even my long-standing book trailer hatred just by talking.

I also feel like I should note that Luke is a huge fan of these books as well and was really excited when the second volume came in the mail.  It's something that will appeal to a wide range of readers and, I think, non-readers.  Plus, we're in full-fledged holiday season now and this makes an amazing gift.  It's the perfect size for a stocking stuffer!

I highly recommend picking up a copy of both books and sharing them with basically everyone.  They are impossible to put down and, like I said, have an audience of basically the entire world.  They're universal!  Seriously, too cute.

Thanks to HitRecord and Harper Collins for letting me review this!

Oh, last thing, if you're wondering what to give your favorite book blogger for Christmas, check out the HitRecord Store.  As stated in my review policy, I am always happy to receive gifts from people who want to give me things ::hint, hint::

  1. I want SO BAD for this to be in my stocking this year! It's already on my wishlist and I see the hubs an email a few days ago giving him a few stocking item ideas, and this was at the top of the list.
