Awesome Readers!

You guys are so sweet to care about my poor sick puppy!  I felt a little silly about my reaction this morning..  You will all be happy to know that Chief has made a full recovery!  He's on a strict diet with no treats for a few days, which might just send him over the edge.  That puppy lives for treats.  He was also pretty sad to have to stay in his crate while Dexter played tonight, but Danes are very susceptible to bloat and since his stomach is already upset we don't want any more strain on it.  But we have had no accidents today and he has perked up a lot.  He's also stopped leaning on us constantly and is not the clingy puppy he was when he felt bad.  I'll stop because, seriously, I'm not going to make this a dog blog.  But I really do appreciate your kind thoughts for my baby!

Also, Zombie Month is officially a go!  I've got a ton of stuff planned and I'll be spending the next few months getting it all lined up.  Look for my celebration of all things undead to coincide with Zombie Awareness Month in May.  I'll post reminders, don't worry!

  2. Glad to hear Chief is doing better!

It's never fun when your furbaby gets sick. Fe had a bladder infection about 2 weeks ago but he was so good when it came to taking his medicine.

BTW, I can't wait to see you next week! Are you staying the night? Is Luke coming with you?

  4. Glad to hear that your little man is feeling better. (I know he's not very little at all, but my dog is 111 lbs and I still think he's a tiny little baby!)

Cannot wait for Zombeeees! Love it!
