Booking Through Thursday

Do you read the inside flaps that describe a book before or while reading it?
I typically have looked up any book I read on Goodreads before reading, so I already have an idea of the plot. If I'm browsing, I will occasionally read the back cover or the inside flap, but for the most part I tend to know the plot before I choose the book. If you're looking for something good to read, check out my Goodreads page or the Book Bio that I've put together for the Nesties!

  2. I tend to go more on other bloggers' reviews than flap copy when choosing books to read. But they're very useful when browsing in the bookstore or library, with nothing else to go on.

  3. I love the book bio!

I tend to just go on recs from people. If someone recs a book to me and gives me no other info, I'll often just read it without ever looking at the flap copy.
